Uzbekistan to introduce new procedure for state construction control
A draft government decision will be developed to approve the Administrative regulations for the implementation of state construction control of objects.
The Presidential decree "On measures to radically improve the quality of construction and assembly work and improve the control system in construction" was adopted.
In accordance with the document, starting April 1, 2020, an improved procedure for state construction control is to be implemented based on the categories of risks and functional purpose of the objects.

The resolution of the Inspection for control in the field of construction and territorial inspections was granted a number of rights in the framework of state construction control.
In particular, inspections have the right to suspend construction and assembly work and require dismantling in cases of structural violations that affect the seismic stability of buildings and structures, as well as pose a threat to human life and health.
