President of Uzbekistan orders to award winners of Olympic Games

On 23 August 2016, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed the Decree "On awarding the winners of the XXXI summer Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil)".

For active participation in the promotion of development of physical culture and sport and the Olympic movement among the youth of the country, superior skill and courage at the XXXI summer Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), a great contribution to raising the prestige and authority of Uzbekistan in the international arena, the medal-winners of the Olympics will be awarded a lump-sum monetary reward.

Owners of gold medals will receive $200 thousand:

• Nurudinov Ruslan Shamilyevich —weightlifter;
• Dusmatov Hasanboy Marfjon o'gli — boxer;
• Zoirov Shahabidin Shokirovich — boxer;
• Gaibnazarov Fazliddin Hasanbaevich - boxer.

Silver medalists — $100 thousand:

• Giyasov Shahram Djamedovich - boxer;
• Melikuziev Bektemir Ruzmatjon o'gli - boxer.

Bronze medalists — $75 thousand:

• Ahmadaliev Murodjon Qahhor o'gli — boxer;
• Tulaganov Rustam Tulkin o'gli — boxer;
• Sobirov Rishod Rashidovich — judoka;
• Urazboev Diyorbek Bakhtiyor o'gli - judoka;
• Tasmuradov Elmurat Zuliphar o'gli —Greco-Roman wrestler;
• Navruzov Ikhtiyor Karimovich —freestyle wrestler;
• Ibragimov Magomed Idrisovich —freestyle wrestler.

Payment of cash awards is to be made by the National Bank for foreign economic activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan in USD from deposit accounts opened in the prescribed manner in the bank for individuals, without taxation.

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan is entrusted to ensure the timely allocation of the necessary funds for this purpose, and the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the National Bank for foreign economic activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan to carry out in the established order conversion of allocated funds at the request of the Ministry of culture and sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
