Uzbek delegation meets with IOC President Thomas Bach
The III Winter Youth Olympic Games will start today in Lausanne (Switzerland). Athletes from 70 countries set to attend these prestigious competitions. Uzbekistan in Alpine skiing will be represented by Kovaleva Valeria under the guidance of coach Andrey Voronov.

Before the opening ceremony of the Games, the delegation of Uzbekistan met with the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach. During the meeting, Bach welcomed the representatives of our country and wished them good luck in the upcoming competitions. He also emphasized the dynamically developing Olympic Movement of Uzbekistan. At the end of the event, the delegation of Uzbekistan was presented with symbolic gifts.
