Uzbekistan shows the best result in history at Asian games
Uzbekistan's national team has completed its participation in the Asian Games, showing the best result in history in terms of quantity and quality of medals. The national team won 71 medals in this tournament.
Uzbekistan's national team has completed its participation in the 19th Asian Summer Games, held from September 23 to October 8 in Hangzhou-2022, China.
The national team won 71 medals - 22 gold, 18 silver and 31 bronze. In the team standings, Uzbek athletes were among the top 5 best teams among 45 participating countries. This is the best result of Uzbekistan's delegation in terms of quality and quantity of awards in the history of the Asian Games, the National Olympic Committee said.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated members of the Uzbek sports delegation on the completion of the Asian Games:
