American delegation explores trade opportunities in Uzbekistan
American companies are actively engaged in the Uzbekistan market. On April 24, Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov met with a delegation led by Utah State Senate President Stuart Adams and Miles Hansen, President of The Stirling Foundation.
They discussed strengthening cooperation in trade, economics, and investments between Utah and Uzbekistan. The parties thoroughly explored the potential for American companies to participate in Uzbekistan projects, along with expanding collaboration in agriculture, tourism, mining, energy, IT, and finance.
Following the meeting, they agreed to take joint actions to deepen and broaden mutual cooperation and to attract American companies to Uzbekistan's market.
M. Hansen, the foundation's president, will visit Uzbekistan in December 2023 to provide schools with computers, organize English language teaching, support special schools for people with disabilities, and engage in other social activities. He expressed interest in funding these specific projects.
