Navoiazot produces its first urea

Navoiazot`s ammonia and urea production complex produced its first urea on December 23. This was reported by the press service of Uzkimyosanoat.
The $985.7mn project was funded at the expense of loans of banks and financial institutions in the amount of $577mn, loans of the Fund for reconstruction and development at $320mn and own funds worth $88.7mn
The complex is implemented in cooperation with a consortium of Japanese companies "Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd" and "Mitsubishi Corporation".
The complex has a capacity to produce 660,000 tons of ammonia and 577,500 tons of urea.
