Tashkent region establishes trade relations with Chinese Chongqing

The Uzbek delegation headed by the khokim of the Tashkent region, Gulomjon Ibragimov visited the industrial city of Chongqing (PRC) on April 17-20.

During the visit, the representatives of the delegation met with the mayor of the city of Tan Lianzhi. Also recently a trade and economic forum and bilateral meetings with leading companies of Chongqing, the newspaper Pravda Vostoka reports have been held with the participation of business circles of the two regions.

At the meeting, Mayor of Chongqing and Uzbek delegation,  discussed the expansion and strengthening of trade-economic, investment, tourist, cultural and educational cooperation between the regions.  As a result, an agreement on cooperation in the trade, economic and humanitarian fields was signed between the hokimiyat of the Tashkent region and the city of Chongqing, as well as Angren of the Tashkent region and the Chiulongpo area of Chongqing.

More than 100 leading enterprises of the province, specializing in agricultural, chemical, textile, food, textile, construction spheres, took part in economic forum organized on 18 April jointly with the city administration.

As a result of the forum and direct negotiations of entrepreneurs, memorandums were signed on the joint implementation of various investment projects with companies such as Jeffer Engeeniring and Techology Co. LTD, Chongqing Latu City Tourism Development, Jintia Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd., Ningbo Lvxing Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., Chongqing Sunfeel Industrial Group, Chongqing Haifu (HIFU) Technology Co.Ltd, CCTEG Chongqing Engineering Co., Ltd. Ltd. and others.
