The Russian oil company registered a subsidiary in Tashkent Region’s Nurafshon Town on 26 Dec
The new company – called LLC Tatneft-AZS-Tashkent according to Kommersant citing Interfax – is having its business plan drawn up.
Tatneft has never operated a gas station in Uzbekistan. It currently has 691 gas stations, including 582 in Russia, 18 in Belarus, and 91 in Ukraine.
In November 2018 Tatneft CEO Nail Maganov met Deputy Prime Minister Alisher Sultanov and representatives from Uzbekneftegaz.
