Uzbekistan's Large Enterprises Double Construction Spending
In January-February 2024, large enterprises and organizations in the Republic of Uzbekistan spent 3,265.7 billion soums on construction works, marking a 190.0% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
The share of construction work performed by these large entities, in relation to the total volume of construction work across all enterprises and organizations, reached 20.2%, reflecting a 7.6% point increase from the 2023 figure.
