The Republican Stock Exchange "Toshkent" during the week from 18 to 22 December saw 40 transactions for purchase and sale of securities of 16 joint-stock companies. A total of 1.4 million securities were sold. The total turnover of the exchange made up 1.7 billion soums.
The analysis of the sectoral indices of the exchange in terms of investment attractiveness shows that the greatest demand in the past period was for securities of banks - 91.5%. The biggest transaction was concluded on 21 December with the shares of JSCB "Turkiston" in the amount of 913 million soums.
