Jamshid Khodjaev appointed Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade

On July 16, the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis considered and approved the candidacy of Jamshid Khodjaev for the post of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Investments and Foreign Economic Activity - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade.

The previous head of the Ministry of Investments, Sardor Umurzakov, has been appointed head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan.

Biography of Jamshid Khodjaev

Jamshid Khodjaev was born in the city of Kokand, Fergana region, on December 21, 1979.

In 2000 he graduated from the Tashkent State Economic University. Scholarship holder of the Umid Foundation, created on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for gifted students. In 2002 he graduated from the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA), immediately after which in 2003 he received an MBA degree from the University of Birmingham (UK) with a degree in international economic relations, and public administration.

Passed a number of foreign training courses of such organizations as Commerzbank (Germany), IMF (USA), Standard Bank (South Africa), JPMorgan Chase (USA), Bank of Russia (RF), Natixis (France), KB Kookmin (South Korea), DBS (Singapore), Credit Suisse (Switzerland) and other organizations.
