Memorandum of Understanding between Uzbekistan and Korea signed
A delegation headed by the Minister of National Defence of Korea visited Uzbekistan
A delegation headed by the Minister of National Defense of Korea visited Uzbekistan. The Minister of National Defense of Uzbekistan held a meeting during which the sides discussed different issues. At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding on military-technical cooperation was signed.
The parties discussed issues of bilateral military cooperation, including the training of military medical specialists in Korea, conducting high-tech joint operations on the basis of the Central Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan, and establishing an exchange of experience in the spheres of information and communication technologies and cyber security.
During the visit, the Korean military delegation also visited the Ministry of Defense. The guests were briefed on the activities of the Uzbek National Army, and the great ancestors of the country. During the visit to the academy, the Korean military met with cadets and teachers. The cadets warmly greeted the guests in Korean.
