Israil Madrimov receives “Major” military rank

The Republic competition, which is traditionally held between representatives of the public and exemplary law enforcement agencies of the Internal Affairs bodies, is gaining increasing importance each year. The award ceremony for this competition took place in the Palace of Culture of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.  The Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant-General Polat Bobojonov, opened the event. He emphasized that this competition is a crucial tool for enhancing the quality of law enforcement agency activities.

Significant strides have been made in transforming the area into a crime-free zone through collaboration between neighborhood activists and the general population. During the event, Israil Madrimov, who recently clinched the WBA belt in the first middleweight category, was awarded with a new title. The Minister of Internal Affairs personally conferred upon boxer the military rank of “Major”.

The winners of the Republican stage of the contest were announced one by one, including categories such as "The most active prevention inspector," "The most active neighborhood assembly chairman," "The most active inspector for women's issues," "The active road patrol service inspector," "The most active patrol post service inspector," and "The most active probation service inspector."
