"The spirit of Samarkand unites creativity": an exhibition of artists from the SCO countries was held

The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, together with the Agency for Cultural Heritage and the Khokimiyat of the Samarkand region, organized an art exhibition "The Spirit of Samarkand, uniting creativity."

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov spoke at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, noting the systematic work to reflect the spirit of Samarkand in the creative works of art masters in the SCO space.

Indeed, the cultural center literally sparkled with new colors - here are foreign artists, sculptors and photographers. For several days, local and foreign artists reflect the spirit of Samarkand in their works. Along with this, a number of events are held, including symposiums, plein airs, marathons.

Talented and well-known artists from the SCO member states of India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, and Tajikistan presented their works at the exhibition. The best works of artists will be presented at the SCO summit in Samarkand in September 2022.

Foreign artists highly appreciated the tourism potential of Uzbekistan and expressed their gratitude for the hospitality and unique impressions. And of course, our friendly country did not disregard the participants, handing them certificates and memorable prizes.

Such events, of course, increase the effectiveness of the reforms carried out in the field of tourism, culture and art in Uzbekistan. And the exhibition "Spirit of Samarkand, uniting creativity" serves to strengthen ties in the field of tourism and art at the international level.
