Special issue of “Vatan” journal presented in Tashkent
The University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted the presentation of a special issue of the socio-political and scientific-educational journal Vatan. Published under the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, the journal serves as a platform for discussions on domestic and foreign policy, regional cooperation, and national identity.
The event gathered representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the diplomatic corps, and leading academic institutions. Uzbek ambassadors abroad also joined the presentation via video conference.
Senator and Editor-in-Chief of Vatan Journal, Husan Ermatov emphasized that the journal has become an important platform for scientists, politicians, and analysts. He stated that Vatan is open to diverse perspectives and aims to foster intellectual discussions.
Additionally, the journal serves as a bridge between Uzbekistan and other countries, fostering cultural and informational exchange—an aspect highlighted by the Italian Ambassador’s appreciation of its role in strengthening bilateral ties.
Every attendee of the event received a special edition of the journal as a gift.
