Tashkent observed hottest temperature in 150 years

On April 14, the maximum temperature in the capital reached about +35 degrees, which broke the record of +32.6 degrees on April 14, 1946, the hottest day, by 2 degrees.
It was reported that sudden weather changes, strong wind and rain are expected during the weekend.
Rainfall is not expected in the republic. Only in some places of the Tashkent region and Fergana valley regions, it may rain and thunder. The air temperature is +10...+15 degrees at night, +20...+25 degrees during the day. In the north, it drops to +0...+5 degrees at night and +7...+12 degrees during the day.
Wind speed is expected to increase to 17-22 m/s in some places of the republic, and sometimes it may increase to 25-28 m/s. It will occasionally rain in the highlands and mountainous areas and turn to snow in some places over the weekend. Flash floods are possible.
