Title of honored entrepreneur of Uzbekistan established
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a law on establishing the title “Honored Entrepreneur of Uzbekistan”, the Ministry of Justice reports. The title will be awarded to managers and founders of “advanced and enterprising business entities” for their “significant contribution to the development of the economy and improvement of the welfare of the population”.
The document was adopted by the Legislative Chamber in three readings, and then approved by the Senate.
The criteria of the title include:
In addition, entrepreneurs who “have become exemplary in the implementation of social projects in partnership with government agencies” will be eligible for the title.
