Uzbekistan set to become visa-free for citizens of seven countries

The President of Uzbekistan adopted a Decree "On additional measures to create favorable conditions for development of tourism potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

Starting February 10, 2018, citizens of Israel, Indonesia, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey and Japan, as well as crew members of foreign airlines, operating regular flights to Uzbekistan will enjoy visa-free regime for 30 days from the date of entry into the territory of Uzbekistan, according to the document.

In addition, citizens of 39 will enjoy a simplified procedure of registration of tourist visas, as the requirement for the provision of tourist voucher or appeal by inviting legal or natural person is to be abolished.

Starting July 1, 2018, a number of foreign countries will be able to get electronic visas.

  28. Romania
  29. San Marino
  30. Saudi Arabia
  31. Serbia
  32. Slovakia
