The Agency for Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan has made an announcement to start the restoration of the Mirzachorbog Palace in the Karman district of the Navoi region. The dilapidated site dates back to the XIX century and is included in the list of cultural heritage.

It is reported that specialists from the Navoi Regional Department of Cultural Heritage conducted an on-site study and identified the work that needs to be done to restore the site.

Among the outlined plans: restoration of the brick foundation of the object, repair of damaged parts of the base and horizontal joints, repair of the damaged part, removal of slate from the roof, complete fencing of the object (with corrugated board).

“In this regard, the repair and restoration of state-owned cultural heritage objects were approved by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 20, 2019 “On Approval of the Regulation on Licensing Activities for the Preservation of Real Property of Cultural Heritage Objects,” the report says.
