Photo exhibition “Uzbekistan – the centre of Islamic civilization” in Malaysia
“Uzbekistan – the centre of Islamic civilization” photo expo will be held on March 1 in Kuala Lumpur. The exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, will feature photographs and information about Uzbekistan's history, artifacts, and cultural heritage that has developed over the past 2 thousand years. Visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with paintings reflecting the commonality of Islam and ancient cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and Tashkent. The primary purpose of the event is to attract tourists from Malaysia. The exhibition will run until April 27 in the Malaysian Islamic Art Museum.
