Uzbekistan Opens Honorary Consulate in Riga
An honorary consulate of Uzbekistan, the first in the Baltic States, was opened in the Latvian capital Riga. Vladimir Galperin, head of the Uzbek Trade House in Riga, was appointed as Honorary Consul.
The consul will be involved in the process of assistance in protecting the rights and interests of Uzbek citizens in Latvia, promoting economic cooperation, attracting Latvian investments and tourists to Uzbekistan.
