Iran-Uzbekistan Logistics Center to be Established to Boost Trade Relations
The Ministry of Transport has announced that an Iran-Uzbekistan logistics center is set to be built following a meeting between the Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan, Ilkhom Mahkamov, and the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran, Mehrdod Bazrposh.
The meeting focused on strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in the transport sector, developing transport corridors, and utilizing opportunities available in this direction. The parties expressed interest in reaching an agreement on the development and use of a trilateral multimodal transport corridor between Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Iran, as suggested by Uzbekistan.
