Siemens Energy implements projects worth €3.4 bln in Uzbekistan
On May 31, the Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Sarvar Khamidov held talks with the Senior Vice President Siemens Energy Ariel Porat.
The two sides considered the issues of expanding bilateral cooperation, implementation of joint projects with a total value of €3.4 bln. Among them, there were projects for the construction of a steam-gas power plant in Surkhandarya region, photoelectric and thermal power plants on the basis of "Navoiyazot" joint-stock company.
In addition, they determined the prospects of cooperation in the development of digitization, metallurgy, electrical engineering, hydrogen energy, oil and gas industry.
According to the results of the negotiations, they agreed to approve a joint "Roadmap" containing specific investment projects, step-by-step mechanisms and deadlines for their implementation.
