Doston Tursunov, the former defender of the "Pakhtakor" club, has decided to continue his career in the Iranian league by joining the "Istiqlal" club. The announcement was made officially by the "Istiqlal" club of Khuzestan, confirming the signing of the Uzbekistan defender.
Tursunov, aged 28, left Pakhtakor at the conclusion of the previous season and entered free agency. The contract between the player and Istiqlal extends until the summer of 2024. Istiqlal currently holds the 16th position in the Iranian championship for this season.
