Komil Allamjonov appointed Deputy Head of President’s Administration
By the decree of the President of Uzbekistan, Allamjonov Komil Ismoilovich was appointed to the post of Deputy Head of the President’s Administration. This was announced by the press secretary of the head of state Sherzod Asadov.
According to the reports, Allamjonov will be responsible for the study of public opinion and information policy.
Komil Allamjonov in December 2017 became the head of the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, and in November 2018 - the head of the Uzbek Agency for Press and Information. Since February 2019, this organization has been reorganized into the Agency for Information and Mass Communications.
Since January 2020, Allamjonov has served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Public Fund for the Support and Development of National Mass Media.
As we reported earlier, Sardor Umurzakov has been appointed head of the Presidential Administration, and Sunnatilla Bekenov has been appointed his assistant.
