Minimum passing score for admission to change

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation is proposing changes to university admissions. For fields like healthcare, law, business, and management, the new minimum passing score would be 94.5 points, for other areas 75.6 points. Previously, the minimum passing score was 56.7 points.

In the first stage, registration and selection of test subjects take place. In the second stage, after announcing the test results, students choose their direction and form of education. State grants will be provided to students in the form of educational and social-stimulating grants.

The educational grant will be given for one academic year and be awarded to students who achieve the highest scores in their first-year admissions. From the second year, it continues to be allocated to students with the highest rating indicators. Social-incentive grants will be awarded to students admitted through targeted admissions and preferences for the entire duration of their studies. The obligation to work for three years after graduation, for students who received educational grants, will be waived. Quotas for part-time education will not exceed those allocated for full-time education. External education will be gradually expanded through the introduction of distance learning and extended education formats.
