Uzbekistan announces spring conscription for military service
In Uzbekistan, citizens of military age who do not have the right to delay and release from conscription will be called up for service in March-April of this year. This is provided for by the presidential decree "On the next conscription of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan for military service and dismissal to the reserve of the armed forces of servicemen who have served the established terms of service."
According to the document:
- the mobilization draft reserve will enroll those who are fit for military service, including those with restrictions, and who are not entitled to a postponement and exemption from it, but who are not called up for another term in the Armed Forces
- military personnel completing the fixed terms of military service will be discharged to the reserve of the Armed Forces in March-April 2022.
