Uzbekistan launches student housing info center
Uzbekistan has launched an Information Center for student housing and rental apartments. This initiative aims to streamline the process of providing accommodation to students and prevent any housing-related issues before the academic year begins.
At the entrances of all state higher education institutions, special centers have been set up. These centers are staffed by young volunteer leaders and tutors who oversee the allocation of dormitories and rented apartments to students in need. Their role includes offering practical support to these students.
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation has established the main Information Center. This center is strategically located near the Ministry building, at a central point on campus. It functions as the central hub for managing requests received from data centers in various higher education institutions. Additionally, it monitors the progress of housing provision and offers hands-on assistance to ensure students are accommodated appropriately.
