Tashkent Medical Academy opens representative office in India

A representative office of the Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA) was opened in India. It is noteworthy that this practice of cooperation with foreign representatives is organized for the first time for the capital's medical university. 

This year, the Academy received applications from 15 foreign companies wishing to establish cooperation with the university. Most of them were from India and specialize in higher medical education. So, through a thorough process of studying the TMA working committee, the company "Axis Institute of International Education" was selected for cooperation.
This Indian company cooperates with almost 20 leading medical universities in the world, such as the University of Warsaw (Poland), the University of Manila (Philippines), the Japanese KUDAN Institute, the University of Georgia, and medical institutes in Ukraine and others.
This representative office will represent the interests of the Academy in India in organizing higher medical education, organizing the development of curricula and programs for the training of medical specialists in demand in the Indian labor market, organizing advanced training and internships for TMA management and teaching staff in advanced medical institutions in this country.
As part of the activities of the representative office, it is planned to organize the practice of TMA students in leading medical centres in India. Particular attention will also be paid to the maximum assistance of the Academy in the development of its pedagogical potential by inviting leading teachers from India.
In the future, it is planned to open representative offices of the Tashkent Medical Academy in South Korea, Turkey and Poland.
