Uzbekistan Airways performs its first flight using hybrid Express model
Uzbekistan Express, Uzbekistan Airways’ new lower-cost subsidiary has performed its first flight on the hybrid model of transportation.
On the eve of the celebration of the anniversary of independence, the flight delivered passengers from Tashkent to Moscow.
"Uzbekistan Airways Express, together with the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, presented 22 one-time free air tickets on the Tashkent-Moscow route to migrant passengers," the official message states.
According to the information, Uzbekistan Airways Express will focus on intra-republican and interregional transportation on four Airbus A320 aircraft. It will operate flights to such cities as Moscow, Novosibirsk, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Sochi, Mineralnye Vody, Yekaterinburg, Aktau and Aktobe.
