Uzbekistan Railway resumes ‘Tashkent – Samara’ train operation after brief hiatus

From June 23, the trains from Tashkent to Samara will start operating twice a week.

In early June, Russia announced the lifting of restrictions on the entry of Uzbeks into the Russian Federation by rail, and the first train after the resumption of the railway service has taken place on June 14. According to the latest information from O‘zbekiston temir yo‘llari, regular train traffic will soon be launched on the Tashkent-Samara route.

Passenger train No. 5/6 will start running on the Tashkent-Samara-Tashkent route on June 23.

The train on a given route will depart from the Tashkent-Central railway station twice a week:

- on Thursdays at 19:05, and on Saturday at 18:14 will arrive at the Samara railway station.

Departure from Samara will be carried out:

- on Sundays at 16:11, and arrival at the station "Tashkent-Central" on Tuesday at 16:56.

For your information, the distance from Tashkent to Samara by rail is 2271 km. The train is on the way for 48 hours. Passenger train No. 5/6 "Tashkent - Samara - Tashkent" is formed from 11 cars: 3 compartments, 7 reserved seats and a dining car.
