Mirzo Ulugbek online school enhances education in remote regions
The "Mirzo Ulugbek" online school was created to benefit remote and mountainous regions of Uzbekistan. It was established through collaboration between the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and the "Ulugbek" Foundation for the Support of Talented Youth.
Three schools were chosen for a trial run within this online school project. These schools include School No. 7 in the Jizzakh region, School No. 70 in the Kushrabod district of Samarkand region, and School No. 62 in the Denov district of Surkhandarya region. High school students in these schools are offered additional instruction in mathematics and English.
The primary aim of setting up this online school is to enhance the quality of education in remote and mountainous areas and to provide support to talented young individuals. If the project demonstrates positive outcomes during testing, it may be expanded to educational institutions in other remote and mountainous regions of the Republic.
