Police officers catch a drug dealer with 13 packages of narcotics
A drug dealer was caught in Tashkent, the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service reports. According to the information, law enforcement officers detained a drug dealer during a preventive measure in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district.
The policemen stopped a suspicious 26-year-old man and searched him in the presence of witnesses. In the pockets of the passerby, they found 13 packages of synthetic drugs. It turned out that he had been engaged in the delivery of drugs and had already managed to hide 17 packages. All the drugs were found and treated as evidence.
The MIA reminded that the illegal production, purchase, storage, and other actions intending to sell drugs or psychotropic substances and their illicit transfer can be punished by imprisonment for up to 20 years.
