Tashkent serves most expensive pilaf in Uzbekistan
In May, the State Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan published data on the average prices of pilaf by region of the country. According to the report, Tashkent served the most expensive Uzbek meal, with a portion worth $2.4. In contrast, the cheapest plov was found in Ferghana Province, where a portion of pilaf was sold for $1.7.
The data also provides the average price of one portion of pilaf in each region of Uzbekistan:
