ARMY-2022: Uzbekistan will host competitions in 5 directions on the territory of its military units for the first time. A total of 275 teams from 37 countries will compete in war games
From August 13 to 27, the VIII International Army Games "ARMI-2022" will be held. The games will be held in 12 countries of the world, for the first time Uzbekistan will host competitions in 5 directions on the territory of its military units. This was announced by the head of the press service of the Ministry of Defense Otabek Yuldashev.
According to the schedule, a total of 275 teams from 37 countries will compete in 34 areas.
Competitions "Field Kitchen" and "Armed Master" will be held at the "Forish" training ground in Jizzakh, "Safe Environment" at the "Sasagan" training ground in Samarkand, "Road Patrol" in the Eastern Military District, "Faithful Friend" in the Chirchik Higher Tank Command engineering school.
Also, the teams of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan will take part in the Elbrus Ring, Armored Technician, Military Scout, Tank Biathlon, Military Medical Relay, Military Rally, Engineering Formula on the territory of Russia, participation in competitions, "Equestrian Marathon" in Mongolia, "Reliable Acceptance" and "Polar Star" in the Republic of Belarus, "Army Tactical Shooter" and "Meridian". In Kazakhstan, the “Sniper Finish” in Venezuela, the “Airborne Platoon” in Algeria and the “Professional Sniper” in Iran are enough.
“Relevant preparations have been made for all competitions held in our country. That is, modern and comfortable conditions have been created for the participants in all regions, training grounds and training centers. Excursions to interesting and historical monuments, cultural, leisure and sports events are planned for the military units of foreign countries arriving in Uzbekistan,” Yuldashev said.
It is worth noting here that at the International Army Games in 2021, the combined team of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan won 4 gold, 9 silver and 4 bronze medals and took 2nd place in the overall standings, and 10 out of 37 record results were beaten by our military personnel of the country. It is noteworthy that in total 277 teams from 42 countries took part in the competitions, the military of our country has already managed to take part in 24 prestigious competitions.
