According to the order of the cinematography agency, the Documentary and Chronicle Film Studio is shooting a feature film about the Hero of Uzbekistan, the national poet of Uzbekistan, the author of the national anthem, Abdulla Oripov.

The idea of creating a feature film was put forward by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the filming process of the film is currently underway. The creative team has completed filming in Uzbekistan and continues filming in Houston and Los Angeles, USA, where the poet lived.The film shows the life and creative activity of Abdulla Oripov, as well as the last moments of his life spent in the USA.

In the film "Abdulla Oripov" people's artist of Uzbekistan Gulchehra Jamilova, owner of the "Dostlik" order, poet Shodmonkul Salom, skilled young actress Rayhon Asadova and others are acting. Qudratilla Burkhanov, an accomplished artist and skilled actor in Uzbekistan, embodies the poet's old age.
