During the visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic to Beijing on May 17-19, the financial model of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project will be approved.
According to reports, the technical and economic basis of the project is ready, adaptation work is underway.
“It is known that the railway will be narrow until Kazarman, and then it will be widened. It will be connected to the Uzbek part of the railway. The cost of the project is estimated at $3-5 bln. 57 tunnels will be built in the territory of Kyrgyzstan,” he said.
