President approves measures to develop chemical industry
According to the decree, the state share and the share of JSC "Uzkimyosanoat" in the authorized capital of JSC "Samarkandkimyo", JV JSC "Elektrohimzavod" and JSC "Jizzah plastic", JSC "Ferganaazot" will be sold to private investors at market value.
A presidential resolution has defined main directions of further development and diversification of the chemical industry of the Republic.
The document approved the Roadmap, according to which the production of chemical products set to increase by 4.5 times in 2018-2030, including mineral fertilizers – 2 times (from 1.2 million tons to 2.4 million tons), exports – 4 times, as well as the diversification of the industry by bringing the share of organic chemistry products from 7% to 54%.
