Uzbekistan`s export of gold surged in January-July. According to data from the State Statistics Committee, the country had exported $3.2 billion worth of gold in the reporting period.

The share of gold in the export volume comprised 39.8%. Nevertheless, excluding gold, exports fell by 29.5% compared to last year.
China was the largest trading partner (17.6%), with Russia (15.9%) coming second and Kazakhstan (7.8%) the third.
