Russia launches pre-school education project in Uzbekistan

The Russian Ministry of Education is launching a project to improve the quality of pre-school education in the Russian language in Uzbekistan. This was announced by Russian Education Minister Sergey Kravtsov at the opening of the Second Russian-Uzbek Education Forum. Within its framework, Russian preschool teachers will be sent to Uzbekistan to exchange experiences with local colleagues. The joint project will give impetus to new scientific research in the field of improving the quality of pre-school education.

Sergei Kravtsov proposed to strengthen the interaction between Russian and Uzbek schools, in particular, to conduct teleconferences. "The Uzbek language is also interesting for us, we have schools and children who are interested in the culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan," he said.

In addition, the forum is supported by the Russian Union of Rectors. It brings together the heads of educational departments of the two countries, as well as the rectors of Russian and Uzbek universities, teachers and scientists.
