Uzbekistan establishes National energy saving company
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted Decree "On measures for further implementation of modern energy-efficient and energy-saving technologies."
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted Decree "On measures for further implementation of modern energy-efficient and energy-saving technologies."
The document provides for the establishment of JSC "National energy saving company", whose main tasks are:
- monitoring the efficiency of energy consumption in state bodies and organizations;
- preparation of proposals on introduction of modern energy-efficient and energy-saving technologies in state bodies and organizations;
- introduction of modern energy-efficient and energy-saving technologies in state bodies and organizations;
- optimization of expenses of state bodies and organizations, reducing the cost of goods (works, services), saving budget and own funds through introducing energy-saving technologies;
- realization of technical, technological, economic and other measures aimed at the reduction of energy consumption.
The founders of the new organization are Ministry of housing and communal services, the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan, JSCB "Asakabank" and Bank "Turonbank".
