Districts of Tashkent with the largest population announced
As of April 1, 2023, the number of permanent residents in the capital was 2,978,200.
1,460,800 of them are men and 1,517,400 are women.
Olmazor, Yunusabad and Shaikhontohur districts are among the three districts with the largest population.
Yakkasaray and Bektemir were recorded as the least populated districts.
The population was distributed by district:
• Olmazor district — 397.1 thousand
• Yunusabad district - 369.5 thousand
• Shaikhontohur district - 361.8 thousand
• Mirzo Ulugbek district - 324.9 thousand
• Uchtepa district — 295.3 thousand
• Yashnabad district — 293,000 thousand
• Chilonzor district - 272.9 thousand
• Yangihayat district — 164,400
• Mirabad district — 150.1 thousand
• Sergeli district — 163.8 thousand
• Yakkasaray district — 128.6 thousand
• Bektemir district - 56.8 thousand
