New Tashkent District to Emerge
A new district, called New Tashkent, is set to be created within the city's borders. The district will cover around 20 thousand hectares, with about 13 thousand hectares designated for agriculture. This land transfer involves 19,729.41 hectares from Tashkent region, including 17,323.31 hectares from Upperchirchik district and 2,406.1 hectares from Middlechirchik district.
The transferred land includes areas like "Istiqbol," "Darkhan," "Usmonabad," "Navoi," "Jaloltepa," "Abodon," "Guliston," "Bahor" in the Urkochirchik district, and various neighborhoods in Ortachirchik district. The total area of the New Tashkent district will be 19,729.41 hectares, utilizing territories from "Mustaqillik," "Gulobod," "Yangiturmush" neighborhoods' citizens' assemblies.
