Uzbekistan bans air transit to Belarus for citizens of 5 countries

Uzbekistan imposed a temporary ban on air transit to Belarus for citizens of five countries: Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, Lebanon, and Libya- representative of "Uzavia" agency has reported. Airlines, operating flights from the territory of Uzbekistan to Belarus, must temporarily impose restrictions on the sale of tickets for the citizens of these countries.

At the same time, the temporary restriction will not affect certain categories of people: holders of diplomatic passports and the citizens of the five countries with a residence permit in Belarus.
