Uzbekistan exported 23,000 tonnes of fruits and vegetables to Afghanistan in the period from January to September this year.
Kazakhstan was the main importer of Uzbek fruits and vegetables (483,000 tonnes), followed by Russia (289,000 tonnes), and Kyrgyzstan (100,000 tonnes). Afghanistan was placed sixth on the list.
In total, Uzbekistan exported 1.1mn tons of fruits and vegetables worth $624.9mn during this period.
