The Uzbek team under the guidance of a talented chef Hakim Ganiev has prepared the largest laghman in the world. A 797 kg Central Asian dish of pulled noodles, meat and vegetables was prepared in Moscow as part of the international festival of cultures.
The record was registered by the International Agency "Interrecord". The previous record was fixed in 2015 in Almaty.
And why laghman? Not pilaf, no other food. According to project organizer Fatima Arifzhanova lagman is a dish of many peoples, both Uzbeks, Kazakhs, and Uighurs, and since the goal is to unite and erase the borders between peoples, it was decided to prepare this international dish.
The chef Hakim Ganiev said he did his best to demonstrate the culture of the Uzbek people, their attitude to cooking.
