Tashkent Airport Welcoming New Taxi Operators through Auction
Three additional taxi operators are set to commence operations at Tashkent airport. Uzbekistan Airports management has listed three spaces for rent on the E-auksion.uz platform, aiming to accommodate these new taxi operators. This expansion includes a taxi service in the general departure hall of Tashkent International Airport, as well as separate selections for the CIP arrival hall and the domestic airline terminal's arrival hall.
To be eligible, companies need to adhere to specific technical criteria. These include maintaining a fleet of cars no older than three years, powered by gasoline or electricity. Qualified drivers proficient in Uzbek, Russian, and English are mandatory, with branded vehicles and company uniforms. Payment options must encompass cash, local and foreign methods, including card payments.
The auctions for these spaces will be conducted on August 17 through the E-auction.uz website. Companies meeting the outlined technical prerequisites are welcome to participate in the auction process.
