Uzbek Teen's Rubik's Cube Artwork for Palestine Goes Viral
Husan Mirzahabibov, a 19-year-old from Uzbekistan's Zomin district, expressed support for Palestine through his Rubik's cube artworks. Known for creating cube art featuring notable figures, he gained social media followers. His pieces include depictions of Amir Temur, Islam Karimov, and Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Amid the Gaza conflicts, Mirzahabibov portrayed a Palestinian mother and child with the national flag, showing solidarity. A video of a Palestinian mother creating the artwork garnered 10 million views and numerous likes on social media.
Mirzahabibov highlighted the significance of his artwork, focusing on the innocence of children affected by the ongoing conflict. The impactful painting, made from approximately 1,500 Rubik's cubes in an 8-hour process, aimed to draw global attention.
Following the recognition of his efforts, the Palestinian ambassador in Tashkent expressed gratitude on behalf of his people and the president for shedding light on the Palestinian issue.
