Uzbekistan establishes University of Geological Sciences
Admission of students to higher education institutions will be carried out by state order and on a fee-contract basis.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree on the establishment of the University of Geological Sciences in the system of the country's State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources, the press service of the Ministry of Justice reported.
The University will specialize in integrating education, research and practice in the geological industry. It will become a specialized higher education and research institution of the Republic for training qualified personnel in the field of geology for the State Committee of Geology, mining enterprises and other sectors of the economy and conducting research.
Admission of students to higher education institutions will be carried out by state order and on a fee-contract basis.
